in my, um, spare time i've started making some jewelry. here is my first necklace! sterling silver and a million jumprings. i've been wearing it pretty much everyday. it's great to be a maker of things.

how much art can you take?

so i've returned from art basel miami with no money, lots of blisters and about 500 pictures! we went to 6 fairs {art basel, it ain't, pulse, nada, pool and aqua} and so, so many galleries/shows/openings. we saw gang gang dance play at a recreation of max fish and kid sister play poolside at a swanky hotel. i ate some pretty good food {where are all the fancy vegetarian restaurants?!} and stepped into the ocean. mostly i looked at art and thought about art and looked at art and wrote down notes about art and looked at art and talked about art and looked at a lot of art.

the fantastic mr. fox was absolutely delightful! like, i was literally filled with delight. my friends and i were doing the little whistle all last night. i definitely recommend it!

the past couple of days i've been listening to the dead man's bones album over and over again. you pretty much can't go wrong when you pair together two handsome actors {ryan gosling and zach shields}, semi-spooky love songs and a children's choir dressed in homemade costumes. it's perfect fun fall music.

this weekend i spent about four hours putting studs on an old pair of boots. it can get pretty addicting.

this weekend i went to a scooter rally in atlanta. it was super fun! the vintage ones have such great logos amd i've kind of got the scooter bug.
