i waaannnnt this dress and those pillows! they were designed by vicki murdoch for her final show at the chelsea school of art. it seems as if she makes custom silk scarves now, but her cat-themed caravan was featured in the book digital textile design. hey vicki, hook a fellow cat-loving textile designer up!

this a photograph i took with my phone of a film shown on a computer and then ran through photo processing software and uploaded and posted it on this blog to be viewed online.

look now, look again.

“have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. do not now look for the answers. they cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. it is a question of experiencing everything. at present you need to live the question. perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.” rainer maria rilke

"nature's simplest structural system in the universe is the tetrahedron. the regular tetrahedron does not fill all-space by itself. the octahedron and tetrahedron complement one another to fill all space. together they produce the simplest, most powerful structural system in the universe." - buckminster fuller
