Sunday

on the vast open sea.

i guess this is what happens when i go without human contact for a while. twenty-twenty is captain of apartment C and protects me against palmetto bugs. books, records and movies have all found their places. furniture has been arranged, rearranged and re-rearranged. art supplies are being unearthed {why do i have 3 compasses??}. my desire to make and create is coming back in tidal waves. school starts in one month. yikes!

Thursday

not dead yet.

i'm still around! the move went great. i had to drive a 14 foot truck {that was towing my car} 750 miles and it was actually easy as pie. being in savannah is nice and weird and exciting and boring and just generally overwhelming. sometimes it begins to feel like home and then i remember that i don't remember where the grocery store is. hopefully i'll be back to posting here more when i have more exciting things to think about than changing my car insurance. xo everyone.

goodbye philadelphia.

all the turmoil of body and soul, all the love and hate that come to an intense human being, have come to me here.

Tuesday

songs from a room.

the piles of boxes are growing and my bedroom is becoming empty and bare.

Monday

good friends are good.

mike fleming is an artist, photographer, musician, observer, thinker and friend. not only is he all of those things, he is really really good at being all of those things. and not only is he really really good at being all of those things, he is probably my favorite of all of those things. here are some of my favorite pictures that he's taken of really really good and beautiful things.
